 Navigating Change

The Need

A telecommunications company was undergoing considerable organizational change through mergers and acquisitions. They requested a program to be delivered to employees of the newly acquired or merger partner companies to facilitate their welcome into the new company, while making certain learning points on coping with organizational change, and to accelerate the organizational change process. They requested that one version of the program be built around the #1 business best-selling book "Who Moved My Cheese?", and video based on the book.

The Solution

"Navigating Change" focused on personally managing organizational change. This highly participatory program identified the stages of the change process, and explored common behaviors, emotions, and pitfalls, and opportunities associated with each stage of change. Participants worked individually and in small groups to help employees, customers, and themselves navigate the change process quickly and effectively.

According to the company, significantly increased levels of cooperation between employees of the various acquired and merged companies, and the parent company, and acceleration of the process of blending the entities into a new whole.
